The Foundation for Individual Rights in Education, or FIRE, defends individual rights at colleges and universities in America. They help protect freedom of speech, legal equity, due process, religious liberty, and sanctity of conscience.

Colleges and Universities in America often deny students and faculties their freedom of speech and other rights with bad and restrictive policies. FIRE aims to fight restrictive colleges and universities through awareness of the problem and legal challenges and arbitration.

Head to FIRE's site and check them out. They're a great organization. And, you can support them, and free speech in colleges, by adding one of their website or Facebook widgets to your site! If you do, they'll give you a free FIRE t-shirt or coffee mug!
