KIDS First are looking for five kids with a love of movies and a flair with words – maybe your child is just what they're looking for!

The five kids (between the ages of 6 and 15) will get to spend a year as a KIDS First film critic – which will involve blogging about upcoming films, interviewing celebrities, and attending Red Carpet events and screenings of new family-friendly movies.

There's even a ten thousand dollar scholarship to be won for the child who submits the best review of 'The Velveteen Rabbit' and that ten thousand dollars can go a long way toward your young movie critic's future education!

To enter the competition, your child will have to submit two movie reviews to WonderWorldTV.com – one written review, and one videotaped. No handwritten reviews will be accepted, and there's no way to mail in a DVD or tape of your child's review – only online submissions will be accepted, sorry. Still, that's not so bad. Odds are good your youngster will be perfectly comfortable with that format. Kids these days, eh?

And when you stop to think about it, is there any better career to suggest to your kids than that of film critic? To be a professional watcher-of-movies, and to be paid for one's opinions on what they just saw? That's fantastic. This is the kind of experience that can have a major impact on your child for the rest of their lives, and might even help pay their way to college later on!

So, start looking for a copy or two of one of the official Kids First! Film Critics' Search movie titles – they can be found at Toys R Us stores, Amazon.com, and most local libraries. Your child can't review a movie they haven't seen yet, right? Hop to it!
