Michaels craft stores is sponsoring several free events in the upcoming months, and you're not going to want to miss these. They're a great opportunity to spend some quality time making craft projects with your young ones.

Coming up on March 13th, there's a free Make-It-Take-It event going on at all participating Michaels stores. Show up between 1pm and 4pm to take part in a nifty little beading class where you get to make and keep your own bead jewelry. No purchase necessary for this event, although availability is only while beading supplies last. On March 27th, between 10am and 1pm, you can show up to participate in a Crayola “Spring Thing”, another Make-It-Take-Event, using the new Crayola Model Magic Presto Dots. On the 28th, from 1pm to 3pm, you can learn how to decorate cookies, and you can decorate an Easter pail on April 3rd, from 10am to 1pm.

Michaels sponsors these fun free events all month long, every month (as well as some paid events, which are quite cheap). This is a great way for your family to spend some time together, crafting and learning new hobbies and skills. And, you get some fun items out of it!
