Okay, I just lost two hours of my life to this incredibly addictive and mindless little free game from Yahoo.com, called Bricks Breaking.

The game is a pretty straight forward affair. You're presented with a board full of little colored squares. There are three colors, resulting in groups of same-colored little squares. The object of the game is to click the groups of colors, which makes them disappear. You win the level when you clear the board.

Sounds kind of dull and pointless, right? That's what I thought, too. Then I looked up, two hours later. See, the thing is, you have to be careful how you clear the blocks, or you end up with single squares of color. The only way to get rid of singles is to use up one of your five “magic wands.” Which you can – and will – run out of, if you don't plan ahead.

This game is like Tetris and Bejeweled got together and had kids, and it's just as bad as those two games at swallowing whole hours of your free time. Go ahead and give it a try! I'd advise turning your sound off, though. The jazz soundtrack gets annoying fast.
