First off, full disclosure – I LOVE my Kindle. I use it constantly. I can get tons of free books online or from the Amazon store and get new releases at a fraction of the price. Now I’m here to tell you the Kindle just got even better.

Let’s look at Every Word, shall we? In Every Word, you are given six or seven scrambled letters at the top of the screen, and your goal is to use those letters to build as many words as you can.

There’s a timer, so speed matters while you’re entering your words in spaces on the board below the letter tiles at the top of the screen. Points are scored for each word you make – and the more you find the higher you score!

The more important goal, though, is to make the longest possible word from the available letters – finding that word gets you access to a new game level with new letters, and your score will go higher and higher the longer you keep playing!

Getting lots of word combination is great, but it’s that longest possible word that you’re looking for in order to keep playing.

There is no multiplayer feature, not yet, but if these games do well the Kindle developers have said that they will be looking into that for future games.

It’s too bad – I could easily see Every Word set up with an alternating player feature, allowing you to take turns, passing the Kindle back and forth and letting you compete with a friend.

Still, for one of the first Kindle games ever made, this is a surprisingly addictive and fun little game, and well worth a try! And I did mention that it’s FREE, right?
