I've played F.E.A.R., and it's a great game. This game is a first person shooter with a horror theme. In F.E.A.R., you assume the role of the First Encounter Assault Recon's Point Man, and you have to investigate a supernatural menace who has assumed the form of a little girl. The Point Man is endowed with “superhuman speed and reflexes”, which, in game mechanics, is played out with a “bullet time” kind of effect, where you can slow the game action down while your character maintains your normal speed. You get to choose from a wide variety of the usual kinds of weapons while you're hunting down the game's supernatural bad guys, and in multi-player modes, you can enjoy most of the usual team games like death matches, team death matches, capture the flag, and last man standing.
