Free Oral Health Care Services for Low-Income Families

The Give kids a smile is a program where local dentists donate their time to provide oral health care services to the children of low income families. So for this year, the designated free dental care day is 2/4/2011. To find out which local dental offices are participating, just go to the ADA.org website conveniently and click on the "Find Dental Care For Your Kids" link.

Keep in mind that they cannot guarantee that free care will be available; however the website can direct you to clinics closest to your home where help may be available. Depending on your family financial status, a fee may be involved depending upon your ability to pay. So as a parent, it's probably best to contact your state dental association and inquire whether your family qualifies for the free dental services or not.

Lastly, the program date may be delayed due to scheduling. However, more and more dental clinics are joining the program so make sure you stay abreast on who is participating so that your child may take part in this free dental care program. This way, your children may receive proper oral care and you as a parent will be glad to see them taken care off.
