Paper Mate invites you to share the love, which sounds a little dirty when I say it like that, so I’m going to start over now, if you don’t mind.

Paper mate has a fun little Facebook promotion they call ‘Share the Love’ where with just a few clicks, you can get one of four fun Paper Mate pens or pencils for FREE!

Yeah, wow, that’s better. Moving on.

Just follow our handy link to the promotion page on Facebook, and upload a picture of yourself… or a friend, I suppose… with your favorite Paper Mate pen or pencil. Silly pictures are encouraged, judging by the pencil mustache in their example picture, so have some fun with it. Caption your picture with a short note telling us why that particular pen or pencil is your favorite.

I submitted my picture, me holding forth my mighty gel pen, with the caption “This is my favorite pen. It glows blue in the presence of orcs and goblins, who have learned to their sorrow why the pen is mightier than the sword.”

There – done! Now I just have to wait, and they’ll mail me a free pen! The offer is good from now until September 30th, 2010 – so don’t wait too long, or the freebies will all be gone!
