Binaca is hosting a Facebook contest, and is giving away a free iPad and a year’s supply of Binaca!

I was actually a little surprised to see they were still in business. I remember Jack Tripper spritzing with Binaca back in the day, when I was a just a kid watching reruns of Three’s Company. It always got a laugh, and I still remember the way he’d go ‘aaaah!’ after spritzing.

But yeah, apparently folks are still sprizing up a storm, and killing germs and bad breath in the hopes of a little smooching, even forty years later. God, I’m old.

The contest is kind of hassle to enter, but hey, that works in your favor, folks – it means there will be fewer people entering, and that means you’ll have better odds to win! First, become a fan of Binaca. Just click the ‘like’ button, and you’re good. Easy, right?

Now it gets trickier. Get five of your friends who aren’t Binaca fans to click that ‘like’ button. Once they’re fans, you then have to get them to post on Binaca’s wall – and include your full name. That’s how they’re going to track how many new friends you’ve referred.

The tricky bit is that once you’ve nagged your friends into doing this, they’re going to want to join the contest, too – and the four people you got can’t use each other or you – they’ll each have to nag five more friends into becoming Binaca fans, and so forth, and so on. Starting this ball rolling can cost you some Facebook friends if you’re not careful, since nobody likes spammers, and your pestering might cross a line. But hey – FREE iPAD! Do what you gotta do, right?
