Reading is a fantastic hobby and one that should be encouraged as much as possible. Interestingly it is something that not as many young people get into as before and this is no doubt due to the fact that they are now able to play computer games and the like. Funny enough though, they are actually exposed to quite a lot of reading material through social networking sites and blogs. So perhaps it is more a question of pointing them in the right direction.

If one is able to combine the magic of reading with the great innovations of technology that we see on a daily basis, then perhaps this is the way forward to encouraging teens to read. With gadgets such as the Kindle available and even just the average PC, there is a lot that can be done.

Barnes & Noble has already recognize this potential both with teens and adults and to encourage more people to read, the company is offering free eBooks. All you have to do is to go onto their site and they will provide you with a great variety of free eBooks to choose from.

The real advantage of this promotion is the choice that they offer the reader. There is not just one genre to choose from. You could decide on a crime thriller, a romance or even a biography. This means it is worth your while to take a tour with the site and discover the true measure of choice that they provide.

Incredible Collection

Their collection of ebooks is quite incredible. They have listed not only the sci-fi's but also the all time favorite classics. Some of the best known titles are like the Star Wars by John Jackson Miller, The Black Arrow by Robert Louis Stevenson, War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy, Journey to the Centre of the Universe, Gulliver Travels, Don Quixote de la Mancha and many more. Truly, the entire listing of these 20 odd books and novels is great a collection which is worth reading (if not read) or at least for the sake of collection in your ebook library.
