This July30th, MySpace is hosting a special screening of Grease Sing-a-long in theaters all over the country! Already, showtimes have been booked for Austin, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Seattle, and the tickets are totally FREE!

No show in your area? No problem. Follow our link, and at the page where folks are requesting their free tickets, you can click DEMAND to ask for a showing in your area. Tell your friends and coworkers about it, and get them to demand a show, too – get enough clicks and MySpace will book new show locations to fill the demand!

The Grease Sing-A-Long is lot of fun. Have you ever gone to a Rocky Horror midnight show? There’s a lot of similarities – people often show up in costume, so you’ll be surrounded by greasers and Pink Ladies at the show. They dance in the aisles, and the songs in the movie are subtitled, karaoke-style, to make singing along easy and fun even if you don’t have all the words to ‘Greased Lightning’ memorized.

The closest show to me is the Seattle one – and it’s a short enough train ride from Oregon to Seattle that I’m really tempted to go. My girlfriend has a nice leather jacket and biker boots… we could slick her hair back pretty easily. I wonder where I could find a Pink Lady jacket in my size? I’ll have to look around. Hey, maybe I’ll see you there!
