This will be an advance screening of Peter Chan's The Warlords, a movie that's already won eight Hong Kong film awards and four Golden Horse awards. This movie stars Jet-Li, Andy Lau, and Takeshi Kaneshiro. The Warlords tells the story of three brothers and their lives during the war and political upheavals of the Qing Dynasty. As they battle through their enemies, they ascend to political power, with near Shakespearean consequences, learning important life lessons from each other as they go. Described as “heroic”, and “epic”, this movie is sure to be fantastic and action-packed. And you can check it out for yourself, free!
