Sanctus Real is a Christian rock band, formed in 1996. Their sounds has been described as both "alternative" and "power pop", so you can expect catchy songs with lots of guitar out of these guys. "Pieces of a Real Heart", due out this month, is their fifth album. They've had several number one singles, including a cover of a U2 song, "Beautiful Day". Sanctus Real has won four GMA Dove Awards, and got the Grammy in 2009 for Best Rock Gospel Album, for their album "We Need Each Other".
