010 is finally here, and I know, this may come as a mixed blessing to a lot of you out there. The Office 2007 edition ruffled a lot of feathers when it came out, and folks who were really good at using older editions found themselves totally lost in the revised product. The navigation ribbon was totally unlike the drop-down menus we’d all become familiar with, the default docx format for files caused headaches with compatibility, and suddenly a simple task like building a spreadsheet or composing a new Word document became slow and arduous.
And now they’re doing it again, you ask? Oh, no. Now what?
Actually, now what is that there are a lot a really good changes and the programs are more powerful than ever. I took a while to get used to the 2007 edition, but once I did I was sold. I love being able to see my options, and navigating the program settings is simpler and easier than ever now that I’m not looking for the old drop-downs anymore. 2010 builds on those improvements.
