Looks like fun, doesn't it? Zipping along on the waves... wait, I think the kids call it 'shredding' right?

Okay, shredding along on the waves... getting some exercise and fresh air while having a great time... but before you get started you're going to need some equipment. No, I mean new and free equipment.

A bodyboard, for one. Also some wax, a tail pad (it looks like a floor mat for your car, but really, it's legitimate sports equipment. I Googled it.) and a leash, too, unless you like the idea of chasing your board as it bobs gently out to sea.
