The mysteries of Egyptian histories await you in San Francisco - and they're free to see on Saturday, February 20th and Sunday, February 21st. As part of a sponsorship by Target stores, tickets to the Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs special exhibit are free for the asking on a first-come, first-served basis at the De Young museum in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park. Got a family or a group of friends? No problem - each adult can request up to four free passes while supplies last. Naturally, demand for these tickets is expected to be very high, so they are recommending those wanting tickets show up at 8:30 to the box office for the best chance at snagging these free tickets. Entry times into the exhibit run from 9 am until 4 pm, so you can even plan for the best time slot to view these historical treasures, or view the rest of the De Young museum's impressive collection at your leisure. What better way to spend a weekend than in the company of Egyptian royalty? (Bonus: Other freebie activities will be available at the museum that weekend, such as children's arts and crafts, tarot card fortune telling and classic mummy movie screenings!)
