Planning on being in orange County this weekend? Then you'll want to check out this awesome Easter event for kids. On Saturday, April 3rd, from 9:30am to 2:30pm, the Orange County Market Place in Costa Mesa, California, will be hosting a free treasure hunt and Easter festival!

Bring your Easter baskets and fill them up with candy and toys as you search out your prizes, and if you find a golden egg during your hunt, you get a special prize! The first five hundred children in line for this event will get a free gift, and from 10am to 2pm, you can get free photos with the Easter Bunny!

There's lots going on at this event besides a treasure hunt, too. From 9:30am to 1:30 am, there will be free face painting, and you can also enjoy free puppet shows at 10:30am, noon, and 2pm! Plues, between 9am and noon, you can meet the Minions from Universal's new 3D animated feature, “Despicable Me”. They'll also be hosting their regular swap meet from 7am to 4pm.

You should definitely make the Orange County Market Place a stop on your route. There will be tons of fun and activity for the whole family!
